In my (Rob) freshmen year of college before meeting Kimberly, the Lord called me to missions in Europe. Specifically was the impression I would be training pastors. Of course at eighteen years old, I was far from ready to train anyone. The next year I met my wife (Kimberly)who also felt a call to Europe. As we approached our wedding date we realized that it was not time yet to engage in missions, but I had already proclaimed that in twenty years I saw myself teaching in a Bible college in Europe.
We ministered in the states as pastors from a very young age and have served in the capacity for many years, being passionate supporters of missions and always feeling the tug on our hearts, but never the release in timing. I (Rob) pursued my graduate education always desiring to train pastors for the practical side of ministry.
After thirty plus years pastoring churches, serving as a presbyter leading pastors, home missionaries and lay leaders, and teaching in District School of Ministry, the Lord began to stir our hearts. Our children now grown, one married, and one about to be, the Lord asked if we were willing to LOSE OURSELVES for His next season in our lives, once we yielded in prayer and fasting, the almost audible words - TRAIN PASTORS returned. As we began to search how to live that out, we were directed to Assemblies of God World Missions and a whirlwind of events led us while confirming words, and deep burdens brought us to this place to finally GO. We are excited for this new era of ministry in our lives.
